The Three Days, the Triduum, is the period of three days that begins with the liturgy in the evening of Maundy Thursday, and reaches its apex with the Easter Vigil liturgy on Saturday
evening. It recalls the passion, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Please join us you are able.
- Maundy Thursday, April 18th, 7:00 pm. We gather for confession and forgiveness, and
foot-washing, as we remember Jesus’ commandment to love one another.
- Good Friday, April 19th, 10:00 am. We contemplate the Passion of Jesus through the words of the Gospel of John, and the solemn reproaches of the cross.
- Easter Vigil, April 20th, 7:00 pm. We gather on Saturday night around a pillar of fire to
hear the ancient stories of our faith, aflame with the good news of the resurrection.
Our Lenten Journey at Trinity begins with Ash Wednesday worship on Wednesday, March 6th at 7:00 pm. Join us for the imposition of ashes and Holy Communion. Pastor Tanya and Rev. Margaret Walker from St. George’s also lead the Nithview Community Ash Wednesday service at 10:30 am.
On the Thursdays of Lent, starting on March 14th, join us for Evening Prayer at 6:30 pm, preceded by a simple soup supper at 5:30 pm. If you’re able to help us out by bringing
soup or bread, please use the sign-up sheet in the narthex.
This year, Trinity is hosting the World Day of Prayer Service for the New Hamburg area. The service will be on Friday March 1st at 7:00 pm. The theme is “Come – Everything is Ready!” and it was written by the women of Slovenia.
All are welcome! Refreshments will follow.
On the Epiphany of Our Lord, Sunday, January 6th, you are invited to “Chalk the Door” of your home. Gather with some friends or family at the main entrance to your dwelling, and ask God’s blessing on all who live or visit there.
