Lenten Journey

Our Lenten journey begins at Trinity with Ash Wednesday worship on February 26th at 7:00 pm. Join us for the imposition of ashes and Holy Communion.

You are then invited to join us Evening Prayer on the Thursdays of Lent, starting March 5th. Evening Prayer is at 6:30 pm, preceded by a simple soup supper at 5:30 pm.

And, of course, you can join us on the Sunday in Lent at 9:30 am, followed by fellowship and coffee. Faith Adventures, youth programming, and adult learning also happen on most Sunday mornings.

Consider accompanying us on our Lenten journey!

“Return to the Lord, your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love.”

The Three Days

The Three Days, the Triduum, is the period of three days that begins with the liturgy in the evening of Maundy Thursday, and reaches its apex with the Easter Vigil liturgy on Saturday
evening. It recalls the passion, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Please join us you are able.

  • Maundy Thursday, April 18th, 7:00 pm. We gather for confession and forgiveness, and
foot-washing, as we remember Jesus’ commandment to love one another.
  • Good Friday, April 19th, 10:00 am. We contemplate the Passion of Jesus through the words of the Gospel of John, and the solemn reproaches of the cross.
  • Easter Vigil, April 20th, 7:00 pm. We gather on Saturday night around a pillar of fire to
hear the ancient stories of our faith, aflame with the good news of the resurrection.
