Youth Group at Trinity Lutheran is a community of young people on a journey of discipleship.  Youth group includes grades 7 through 12.  We explore faith through weekly discussion and social events.  Every year we get pretty excited for our week-long confirmation camp! More below!

Youth Group Social Events & Service Projects

Youth get together once in a while for a social event or service project. The Trinity Dove newsletter and weekly emailer are great ways to find out about upcoming events. 

Confirmation

Confirmation classes are lead by Pastor Tanya Varner.  The class meets throughout the school year at Trinity, usually a couple of times per month after worship on Sunday mornings. Prior to being confirmed, youth are asked to attend for two years and are also invited to attend confirmation camp. Those who have completed confirmation classes are usually confirmed in the spring of each year.

Youth Camp

Summer Lutheran Youth Camp in August is a flagship of the Trinity youth scene. Young people come out to Camp Kintail on Lake Huron to participate as campers or counsellors.  

CLAY

Youth events and youth gatherings are special opportunities for young people of faith to converge en masse and find community with each other.  “CLAY” or the Canadian Lutheran Anglican Youth gathering takes place every other year in a different city in Canada.
