Al Junker
President
A longtime member of Trinity, Al has served on church council since 2020 and was elected president in 2021. Al sings with Trinity Choir and has a passion for history, assisting with our archives.

The Rev. Tanya Varner
Pastor
Tanya Ramer is a pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada.  Ordained in 2002, she has accepted the call to serve as Trinity’s pastor, and began her ministry here in 2017.

The Rev. Leanne Darlington
Interim Visitation Pastor
Leanne Darlington is a pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada.  Graduating from Martin Lutheran University College in 2019, she was called to serve Zion Lutheran Church in Philipsburg. Leanne serves at Trinity on a part-time basis.

Jamie Courtney
Parish Administrator & Minister of Music
Jamie Courtney joined the staff of Trinity in 2012 as Minister of Music.  This role encompasses the whole musical well-being of our congregation, seeing him direct choral and handbell ensembles, and leading congregational song at the organ and piano. Jamie also serves as Parish Administrator, taking responsibility for many of the day-to-day functions of the congregation.

Heidi Van Schaik
Youth Worker
Since 2019, Heidi Van Schaik has served at the helm of our youth ministry. Heidi has experience leading youth ministry locally, synodically, and nationally. In 2021, Heidi was the recipient of an Eastern Synod Leadership for her work in the wider church in the area of youth and children’s ministries.

Brian Racho
Sexton
Brian Racho serves as Trinity’s sexton, our caretaker, providing maintenance to our facilities, and assisting those who use them.

The Rev. Ron Leonard
Honourary Assistant Pastor
Ron Leonard is a pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada.  He retired after more than 30 years in ministry, serving as a parish pastor in Nova Scotia and Ontario. Pastor Leonard also served as secretary of the Eastern Synod for many years, and as an interim pastor in several congregations following his retirement.

Gywin Murray
Emerita Director of Music
Gywin Murray served as Trinity’s Director of Music for fifty years, retiring in 2011. Mrs. Murray maintains a supportive musical role in our congregation.
