Mission Partners

Trinity’s mission partnerships can be found working within the Trinity congregation, its community and in the form of outreach to broader organizations.  At home, Trinity provides Christmas baking, Dove delivery and family support programs as well as ministering to our shut ins and those with medical difficulties.

In our community, Trinity partners with Wilmot Family Resource Centre, Canadian Blood Services Blood Donor Clinics, Community Care Concepts, Optimist Breakfast, and oneROOF.

For 30 years, Trinity has hosted Interfaith Community Counselling Centre.  In 2017, we have a new partnership, hosting the New Hamburg Neighbourhood Association, which provides low-cost arts and recreation programming for children.

Several other community groups meet in Trinity’s facilites each week: two A/A groups, two TOPS groups, and Overeaters Anonymous.

On a more global scale Trinity works with the Canadian Lutheran World Relief through the We Care Program and  through direct financial support.  As well Trinity is involved with the Lutheran World Federation, Eastern Synod and the Canadian Council of Churches.

Finally, in 2015-16 Trinity sponsored a refugee family from Burma who has resettled in our area, where they have received Trinity’s ongoing support. (For more, see the Refugee Resettlement Page.)
