A Trinity youth in the Dominican Republic
Trinity Lutheran parishioner Emily spent some time in the Dominican Republic as part of a health team traveling with the Rotary Club of Stratford. Read about her experiences on her blog! Here’s an excerpt:
“As we continue on through the advent season we light candles in the spirit of hope. We expectantly watch and wait for the arrival of a baby who, though seemingly helpless, will help to change everything. This trip reminded me that regardless of any trials or difficulties, hope gives you the strength to continue showing up, to continue working for change, and to continue shining light in the midst of unfathomable darkness.”
